Kanye West takes ‘The Life Of Pablo’ off-sale to continue work on album

The album is still streaming on music service Tidal

Kanye West has withdrawn his new album just a day after officially releasing it, claiming that he is still working on one of the tracks.

‘The Life Of Pablo’ was released following much delay on February 14. It includes 18 tracks and features Frank Ocean, Chance the Rapper, Rihanna, Future, Ty Dolla $ign, Young Thug, The-Dream, Kid Cudi, Kirk Franklin, Post Malone, Kelly Price and more.

West first launched the album with a listening party and fashion show at New York’s Madison Square Garden on Thursday night (February 11). The arena event marked the launch of West’s Yeezy Season 3 range with Adidas and the premiere of his new album.

Now, West has decided to take his album off sale for another week. He wrote on Twitter: “Ima fix wolves… Please for all music lovers. Please subscribe to tidal!!! I decided not to sell my album for another week. Please subscribe to tidal”.

The album is still streaming on music service Tidal.

West’s seventh LP previously went by the names ‘Waves’, ‘Swish’ and ‘So Help Me God’. West has explained that Pablo is a reference to St Paul The Apostle.

The album features a controversial lyric about Taylor Swift which the pop singer has condemned as “misogynistic”. West has subsequently defended his lyrics and claimed that Swift approved the words on ‘Famous’ in advance.
