Kanye West says ‘there may be a new secret album title’

Record was previously called 'Waves', 'Swish' and 'So Help Me God'

Kanye West has suggested that he has once again renamed his upcoming new album.

The rapper’s upcoming seventh LP is expected to be released on Thursday (February 11), with the record previously going by the names ‘Waves’, ‘Swish’ and ‘So Help Me God’.

Having recently told Real 92.3 radio host Big Boy “We don’t have a name yet”, West has now taken to Twitter to say: “There may be a new secret album title”.

Initially announced as ‘So Help Me God’ in March 2015, West then changed his album’s title to ‘Swish’ a few months later in May 2015. Just a couple of weeks prior to the album’s official release though, West changed the name again to ‘Waves’.

Wife Kim Kardashian later took to Twitter to ask fans which name they prefer, with the majority voting in favour of ‘So Help Me God’.

West will launch his new album with a listening party and fashion show at New York’s Madison Square Garden on Thursday (February 11). The arena event will mark the launch of West’s Yeezy Season 3 range with Adidas and the release of his new album. It will be live-streamed at cinemas worldwide.
