Odd Future rapper rumoured to appear on LP following Instagram post
An Instagram post by Tracey Mills, West’s friend and designer, shows the Odd Future rapper sitting in a studio looking at a notepad similar to that which revealed ‘Waves” tracklisting. The photo is accompanied by the caption: “Wolf gang in the building #Waves 2|11|16”.
As The Source reports, Tyler joins a list of rumoured collaborators that includes his former bandmate Earl Sweatshirt and A$AP Rocky. West has reportedly also been in the studio with Andre 3000 and Kid Cudi.
It wouldn’t be the first time that West and Tyler have worked together. The two teamed up with Lil Wayne on the track ‘Smuckers’, which featured on Tyler’s 2015 solo album ‘Cherry Bomb’.
West, meanwhile, will release ‘Waves’ on February 11 and will perform the album at New York’s Madison Square Gardens that night. The show will be live-streamed at cinemas around the world, with UK cinema chain Vue amongst those signed up to show the gig live.
Vue have released the following details on the event:
“Screened live from New York’s Madison Square Garden, this is the first time music fans and Kanye enthusiasts alike will hear the record, which will be accompanied by a breath-taking performance curated by celebrated Italian contemporary artist, Vanessa Beecroft.
