Kanye West ditches his phones so he can ‘create’

West is going without his phone to focus on creativity

Kanye West has gotten rid of his phone so he can focus on creating, declaring the lifestyle change on Twitter.

West is currently on his SAINT PABLO tour, which sees the rapper perform to the crowd on a suspended stage.

Writing on Twitter today (Sep 14), West said: “I got rid of my phone so I can have air to create”. Fans responded by asking how he was able to tweet, with one bringing up an image proving that West had indeed tweeted from Twitter Web Client.

Meanwhile, a fan tried – and failed – to climb Kanye West’s infamous floating stage during a recent date on the rapper’s Saint Pablo Tour.

Fan-shot footage spotted by Complex shows the concert-goer at Atlanta’s Philips Arena grabbing onto the side of the stage before falling back into crowd after the rapper waves him off.

Kanye West recently revealed that his innovative floating stage concept took eight months of planning and involved “traveling around the world meeting with the best stage designers”.

“I wanted people to get into it and have a fun time, [and] make it not be just about watching the artist, but people watching their friends and singing along to the lyrics and being able to see themselves, their outfits,” he told E! News after his tour’s first show in Indianapolis on August 25.
