‘No More Parties In LA’ was originally expected to be released on Friday (January 16)
Kim Kardashian has revealed the reason behind the delayed reason of Kanye West’s new track ‘No More Parties In LA’.
The model and reality television star explained in a tweet that West did not release the track on Friday (January 16) as expected because he was busy putting the final touches to his latest Yeezy fashion collection.
Kardashian previously announced that her husband would be giving away free new music each week as part of his revived G.O.O.D. Fridays series.
West released 15 new tracks each week in the run-up to the release of his fifth studio album ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’ in 2010. Three G.O.O.D. Fridays tracks also appeared on the album: ‘Power’, ‘Monster’ and ‘So Appalled’.
Kardashian reassured fans that West is still planning to release ‘No More Parties In LA’ which features a guest verse from Kendrick Lamar but didn’t specify a date. The track will be the first time the two rappers have collaborated.
West originally announced the release of the track, which was co-produced by himself and Madlib on Twitter on January 8.
Last week, the ‘Yeezus’ rapper released ‘Real Friends’, it followed the release of another new track, ‘Facts’, on January 1. His last single ‘All Day’, featuring Paul McCartney, was released on March 2.
