Kanye West has baptised his first born daughter, North West, in Jerusalem.
Following a recent trip to Armenia with his wife Kim Kardashian, which saw the rapper perform in the country’s Swan Lake, West has now travelled to Israel.
As Associated Press report, the couple chose to baptise their child at the city’s Cathedral of St. James, the reputed burial place of one of Jesus’ disciples Saint James and Armenian church.
“Kim Kardashian’s daughter will be baptized and become a Christian officially and a member of the Armenian church,” Archbishop Aris Shirvanian said in a statement before the event. “All I know is that she’s a famous personality. I don’t know her in person. In any case she is welcome with her family.”
The pair later visited the site where Christians believe Christ was crucified, with Kardashian posting an image to Twitter. See that below.

Last week, West said: “I’m not a celebrity, I’m an activist”, continuing: “The fact that when I see truth it’s really hard for me to sit back and just allow it to happen in front of me on my clock makes me, a lot of times, a bad celebrity.”
The rapper added in an interview with The New York Times: “I feel like now I have an amazing wife, a supersmart child and the opportunity to create in two major fields. Before I had those outlets, my ego was all I had.”
Meanwhile, Mumford & Sons have spoken of their love for Kanye West, labelling him as “the only rock star left”.
