Drake joins Kanye West on stage in Toronto – watch

The pair performed 2009 collaboration 'Forever' for the first time ever

Drake joined Kanye West on stage in Toronto last night (December 23) as he brought the current leg of his Yeezus tour to an end, reports Consequence Of Sound.

Appearing during the encore of West’s second show in the city, the pair performed their 2009 collaboration ‘Forever’ together for the first time ever before airing a version of ‘All Me’, a track taken from Drake‘s latest album ‘Nothing Was The Same’. You can watch fan-recorded footage of the performance below.

Drake’s cameo comes one day after West is said to have thanked “rap god Drake” for coming to the first Toronto show before taking him to an afterparty where they rapped each other’s songs and West swung from the ceiling as ‘Blood On The Leaves’ played.

Meanwhile, West recently revealed his next album could contain just eight songs. During a talk with architect Jacques Herzog at the Moore Building in Miami, as a part of the city’s Art Basel conference, he said: “It’s just reducing down the amount of information that you need. People say a design is the point where you can’t take anything else away. [Yeezus] was very, very designed.”

It has also been announced Rick Rubin and Q-Tip are to produce the new album, after the A Tribe Called Quest man revealed the plans to Jay-Z‘s Life And Times.
