Kanye West brought the floating stage performance of the ‘Saint Pablo’ tour to Madison Square Garden on Monday (September 5).
The show was a general admission, free-for-all, meaning that celebrities watched the show from the same area as the general public.
Footage on twitter sees 21 Jump Street actor Jonah Hill and rapper Vic Mensa taking part in a mosh pit during Kanye West’s performance.
West recently gave a speech about self-love midway through his show at Boston over the weekend. The rapper’s improvised monologues have become a fixture of his live performances and he has been sounding off on whatever comes to mind on each night of his Saint Pablo tour.
During his stop in Boston on Saturday, West was inspired to share some thoughts on the topic of self-love.
“We only got a 100 years here, if we’re lucky,” he said. “…We need to start thinking of ways to change the way we treat each other, the way we talk to each other, the way we talk about each other.” West suggested that “we have to love ourselves before we can love anybody else.”
