Kanye West has postponed live tour dates after his wife Kim Kardashian was the victim of a robbery in Paris.
West cut short a concert in New York after Kardashian was involved in an incident at a Paris hotel in which she was held at gunpoint.
Kardashian was the victim of a robbery in the early hours of Monday (October 3) with two armed masked men dressed as police officers invading her hotel room.
A spokesperson described the star as “badly shaken but physically unharmed.” It was also revealed that Kardashian was robbed of a jewellery box worth up to €6 million and a ring valued at €4 million.
Rolling Stone now reports that West has postponed two shows of his Saint Pablo tour.
“Due to family concerns, this week’s Philadelphia and Detroit dates on the Saint Pablo Tour have been rescheduled,” Live Nation said in a statement. “The Philadelphia show will take place on December 13 and the Detroit show on December 22.”
The Saint Pablo tour is expected to resume on October 7 in West’s hometown of Chicago.
Meanwhile, James Corden has hit out at people making jokes about Kim Kardashian following the robbery.
After jokes spread via social media, comedian and US TV host Corden said that people would “do well” to remember that Kardashian is “a mother, a daughter, a wife, a friend”. He added: “Be nice or shut up”.
