"Been chopping samples from the sunken place"
Kanye West has announced that he’s producing new albums from the likes of Nas and Pusha T.
The ‘Life of Pablo’ rapper revealed his involvement on Twitter, after he returned to the social media site last week.
“I’m hand producing all the albums I tweeted about. Been chopping samples from the sunken place Pusha May 25th My album June 1st me and Cudi June 8th and Teyana June 22nd and oh yeah…”, he wrote on Twitter.
“Nas June 15th”.
As well as sharing news of his Nas collab, Kanye has also announced a handful of new projects including a “7 song” album which is June 1 and a collaborative album with Kid Cudi which will be released June 8.
In a series of tweets last week, Kanye West shared an aesthetic clue for his new project with Cudi. Captioned ‘Murakami vibes’, it references Japanese artist Takashi Murakami who designed the cover to Kanye’s 2007 album,’Graduation’.
The images show ‘chibi’ versions of West and Cudi as well as the duo’s current title ‘Kids See Ghosts’ written in Japanese.
