Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s young son Saint was reportedly hospitalised with ‘a bad case of pneumonia’.
As TMZ reports, the two-year-old son of the rapper and reality TV star was taken to a hospital in the Los Angeles area last Thursday. His parents remained with him to ‘share overnight duties’, before he was later released on Saturday. Saint is now said to be back at home with his family and ‘doing well’.
Kardashian shared the below photo of the family over the Christmas period, shortly before Saint was admitted to hospital.
Kardashian has now tweeted about Saint’s hospitalisation, writing: “My precious baby boy is so strong! After spending three nights in the hospital & seeing my baby get multiple IV’s and hooked up to oxygen machines, our end of year was challenging. Pneumonia is so scary.”
She also expressed her gratitude to “every nurse & doctor out there who works so hard around the clock.” “We are so grateful for you all!” she wrote, before giving her followers an update on her son’s condition.

“He’s home and all better. He’s so resilient I’m sure he will still say the ambulance ride was cool! My strong Saint.”
Last year, the couple confirmed they were expecting their third child. A surrogate has been hired to carry the baby after doctors warned Kardashian of potential health risks of her undergoing another pregnancy. Kardashian suffered from placenta accreta during her last pregnancy, a condition which sees the placenta grows into the womb’s wall, preventing it from easily detaching at birth.
