Kanye West will reportedly make a string of regular appearances in Keeping Up With The Kardashians in the show’s confessional segments.
The rap icon joined wife Kim Kardashian in the first episode of season 16 on Sunday – which saw the Kardashian gang heading to Kanye’s native Chicago. The episode also focused on Kanye’s feud with a longtime friend, marking one of the first times when the show has fully focused on him.
According to the New York Times, Kanye is now set to make a string of appearances in the reality TV giant and he’s said to be pretty involved behind the scenes too.
“One family member that makes a notable impression in the new season is Kim Kardashian’s husband, Kanye West,” the NYT wrote.

“He’ll appear more regularly on the show — and, for the first time, he’ll be doing direct-to-camera confessionals. He also helped design the looks for the whole gang.
“Kanye frequently texts with the show’s producers, we learned — he redid the slightly 1970s aesthetic and clad the sisters in nude and silver.”
Adam Stotsky, the president of E!, added: “He’s a real creative force, clearly, and had thoughts on marketing, thoughts on presentation of the show, on the opening title sequence.”
Kanye’s increased involvement on the show comes after it was confirmed that he’s heading to Coachella in 2019 after all.
The rapper will appear on Easter Sunday as part of his Sunday Service sessions – with the performance coming after extensive logistical issues forced him to pull out of a headline slot for 2019.
