Ye reached out days before the fan passed away
Kanye West reached out to a fan battling cancer to rap down the phone for her a few days before she passed away.
A Twitter user first tweeted about the story last week (January 3), writing that “This girl in my town had cancer and Kanye called her a couple days ago to rap for her”.
“I think Kim was there too,” the person added. “Wasn’t even blasted on social media or anything. She passed yesterday. I have so much respect for him tho. Making her happy in her last moments.”
West’s wife Kim Kardashian then appeared to confirm the reports earlier today (January 8), responding to the original by saying: “We are praying for her family”. See below.
Meanwhile, West and Kardashian’s young son Saint was recently hospitalised with a “bad case” of pneumonia.
TMZ reported that the two-year-old son of the rapper and reality TV star was taken to a hospital in the Los Angeles area over the festive period. His parents remained with him to “share overnight duties”, before he was eventually released a few days later. Saint is now said to be back at home with his family and “doing well”.
Kardashian later tweeted about the health scare, writing: “My precious baby boy is so strong! After spending three nights in the hospital & seeing my baby get multiple IV’s and hooked up to oxygen machines, our end of year was challenging. Pneumonia is so scary.”
Kanye and Kim are currently expecting their third child after hiring a surrogate last year.
