Kasabian announce 10-date arena tour – ticket details

The autumn/winter jaunt follows the release of 'Velociraptor!'

Kasabian are set to embark on a 10-date tour of the UK’s arenas this winter.

Kicking off at the Brighton Centre on November 28, the tour finishes up at London O2 Arena on December 14. Tickets for the tour go on sale at 9am on September 2. However, O2 customers can get priority tickets to Kasabian from 9am Wednesday, 48 hours before general release. Text Priority to 2020 for details.

The nationwide trip will follow the September 19 release of their fourth album ‘Velociraptor!’. Speaking to NME about the record, guitarist Serge Pizzorno said: “It’s heavier than I thought it would be. It squares up to you and doesn’t leave you alone. It’s really in your face.”

He added that it is a “jukebox album”, with no weak songs. He said: “It’s a real jukebox album, just tune after tune, with really strong verses and really strong choruses.”

‘Velociraptor!’ is preceded by a single ‘Days Are Forgotten’, on September 12. You can go behind the scenes at the band’s album sessions by clicking on the video below.
