Kasabian set for third straight UK Number One with ‘Velociraptor!’

N-Dubz' Dappy is also heading for the top spot in singles chart

Kasabian are set to gain their third straight Number One album on Sunday (September 25) with Velociraptor!’.

The album, which is the Leicester band’s fourth, is set to knock Ed Sheeran‘s debut LP ‘+’ down to Number Two.

Kasabian are one of four new entries in the Top Ten, with Christina Perri currently heading for Number Four with her album ‘Lovestrong’, Tony Bennett presently at Number Five with his album ‘Duets II’ and Mick Jagger‘s new supergroup SuperHeavy currently at Number 10.

In the singles chart, N-Dubz mainman Dappy is set to debut at Number One with his new solo single ‘No Regrets’, pushing last week’s chart toppers One Direction down to Number Two.

There are two new entries in the top five, with Jason Derulo currently placing at Number Four with ‘IT Girl’ and James Morrison at Number Five with ‘I Won’t Let You Go’.

Damien Rice is also enjoying the fruits of X Factor contestant John Adams performing his track ‘Cannonball’ on the show on Saturday (September 17). The track is up 33 places to Number Six in the midweek charts.
