Kasabian’s Serge Pizzorno teams up with Noel Fielding for second series of ‘Luxury Comedy’

Comedy series will return to E4 later this year

Kasabian‘s Serge Pizzorno has provided the music for the second series of Noel Fielding’s Luxury Comedy, which begins on E4 later this year.

Pizzorno makes the music for the surreal comedy alongside Fielding, with the duo going under the name Loose Tapestries. Series two of Noel Fielding’s Luxury Comedy sees the show relocate to a coffee shop on the edge of a volcano in Hawaii.

There is no air date for the series as yet but an official statement released by Channel 4 teases a number of scenarios for the series. They include Fielding trying to destroy a monster called Fantasy Block in an attempt to save his only viewer from an asteroid to exploring the subject of disaffected youth while being threatened by a race of ultra-cool alien cucumbers.

Guest stars for the second series include Richard Ayoade (The IT Crowd), Steve Oram (Sightseers) and Rich Fulcher (The Mighty Boosh) among others. “I loved making this new series. It’s like an insect version of Antiques Roadshow,” said Fielding.

Serge Pizzorno and Noel Fielding both appear in this week’s NME discussing the band’s recent headline slot at Glastonbury, in which Fielding appeared on stage as Vlad the Impaler. The issue is on newsstands now and available digitally.
