Kate Tempest, Matthew E White for NME’s SXSW day party

The event takes place from 10am-2pm on Thursday March 19 in Austin, Texas

Kate Tempest and Matthew E White are both set to play NME’s day party at South By Southwest 2015.

The event – which is run in conjunction with Austin City Limits – will take place at the GSD&M courtyard at 828 W 6th Street in Austin, Texas from 10am-2pm on Thursday March 19. Max Frost, Anderson East, Kristin Diable, Riders Against The Storm and Grace London will also perform.

The event is titled ‘Bloody Mary Morning’, and will feature free Tito’s bloody marys, Tacodeli and Budweiser while stocks last.


Meanwhile, Girl Band, Happyness and Hinds will play NME’s evening showcase at South By Southwest 2015.

NME and PRS For Music will host a night of live performances on Saturday March 21 at The British Music Embassy/Latitude 30. Other acts performing include Hector Bizerk, Ultimate Painting and Honeyblood. Further details can be found at the Facebook group for the event.

SXSW recently announced a third wave of artists performing at the Austin, Texas event on March 17-22, including Palma Violets, Best Coast, Kate Tempest, Catfish And The Bottlemen, Will Butler, and Leon Bridges.
