This isn't the first time the pop singer has turned midwide

Katy Perry has revealed that she helped to deliver her sister’s baby yesterday (September 13) – just hours before heading into the recording studio.

Perry is now working on the follow-up to her chart-topping 2014 album ‘Prism’, which spawned the hit singles ‘Roar’, ‘This Is How We Do’ and ‘Dark Horse’. In July she released a new song called ‘Rise’, which was prominently featured during US network NBC’s coverage of the 2016 Summer Olympics. It peaked at Number 11 in the US and Number 25 in the UK.

Over the weekend she surprised fans on Twitter by seemingly replying to a follower who asked if she would collaborate with Taylor Swift, with whom she is rumoured to have had a serious falling out several years ago. “If she says she’s sorry, sure!” was Perry’s apparent response.
