Singer and her entourage mix with fans after they are forced to walk along the roadside

Katy Perry was reportedly forced to walk to Coachella over the weekend after her tour van broke down.

The singer and her entourage were making their way to the music festival in Indio when their vehicle failed and they were left to make their way to the site by walking along the roadside.

She is said to have walked along the roadside for 10 minutes and was completely unfazed reports the Daily Mirror.

Perry was spotted at the music festival alongside Hollywood star Robert Pattinson, who is reported to have celebrated his engagement to FKA Twigs at a surprise Coachella afterparty.

A politician in the US was recently forced to resign after questions were raised over his finances, which included spending campaign money on tickets to see a Katy Perry concert.

Illinois congressman Aaron Schock spent a total of $24,000 (£16,000) on a number of leisurely things, including gig tickets, flights in private jets and an interior designer to redecorate his office to look like the set of ‘Downton Abbey’.

Meanwhile, Perry also announced the release of official Left Shark merchandise.

This includes a onesie costume that resembles Left Shark, the back up dancer dressed in a shark costume who became a viral hit due to his uncoordinated dancing during Perry’s Super Bowl half-time performance, as well as a Left Shark T-Shirt.

The costume is priced at $129.99 (£85) and the T-shirt is priced at $25 (£16). Both are available from Perry’s website.
