Pop star renames rappers' track 'Ninjas In Paris'
The singer performed the cover during a live session on BBC Radio 1 after being interviewed by Fearne Cotton.
During her cover, Perry, who was sporting a Jay-Z esque New York Yankees baseball cap over her dyed blue hair, avoided dropping any N-bombs by replacing “N***a” with “Ninja” and avoiding all the track’s swear words.
Perry announced earlier this month that she is planning to release a 3D concert movie this summer. The film, which will be titled Katy Perry: Part Of Me, has been made in conjunction with Paramount and is named after her most recent single.
The singer also confirmed earlier this year that she has signed a deal with Electronic Arts, the company behind the best-selling computer game The Sims. The deal means that Perry will appear in a host of games in The Sims franchise and in themed content as well as ‘virtual goods’.
Perry completed her extensive ‘California Dreams’ world tour earlier this year.
