It's someone who has had a couple of very big hits this year...
KELIS has been added to the bill of this year’s V FESTIVAL.
The star, who first appeared at the event in 2000, will make a rare live appearance on the JJB/Puma Stage on the opening day of the festival at Hylands Park, Chelmsford (August 21) and the following day at Weston Park in Stafford (22).
Other late additions to the bill include Kevin Mark Trail, Fried, Rodrigo Y Gabriela and Rooster.
Simon Moran, Festival Director, said: “We’re thrilled to be able to welcome Kelis back to V as the kind of global superstar we always knew she’d end up being. 2004 has been a phenomenal year for Kelis in which she’s quite rightly earned her crown as queen of urban music. With only just over four weeks to go until the festival, we can’t wait to see what she pulls out of the bag for festival-goers this time round.”
