Kendrick Lamar, Calvin Harris and more to play Bacardi Triangle – win tickets

Three-day event culminates in gig on private island in the Bermuda Triangle

Calvin Harris, Kendrick Lamar (pictured above) and Ellie Goulding are to play a private island in the Bermuda Triangle for the Bacardi Triangle festival on the weekend beginning October 31.

Announced today is a global DJ line-up performing across the three days, including Tensnake, PBR Streetgang, Crazy P Soundsystem, AC Slater, Nadastrom, Sinden, Marc Roberts, Thee Mike B, Jubilee, Bang Gang DJs, Cuban Brothers, Futureboogie and Freddy Be and Konect from Monday Social.

Taking place across Halloween, the event is a Black Pearl-themed party hosted by Bacardi rum and produced by Broadwick Live, the people behind Wales’ Festival No. 6, Snowbombing and LolliBop.

NME has a competition to join the three-day adventure. Enter by clicking here and find out more about the event here.

Meanwhile, Kendrick Lamar recently revealed brand new song ‘i’. The track is the first to be taken from Lamar’s new album, the follow-up to 2012’s ‘Good Kid, mAAd City’, and features a sample of The Isley Brothers’ 1973 hit ‘That Lady’.

Speaking about his new album, which is expected to be released later this year, Lamar recently downplayed the chance of seeing multiple guest artists on the record. “I have so much to say,” he commented. “It’s almost selfish of me.”

He added that the album will feature a lot of “aggression and emotion… There was a lot left out of ‘Good Kid…’. It could have been a 30-track album. There are a few new [tracks] that can tie in with what I was talking about.”
