Rapper will play Birminghma, Manchester and Leeds on the stint
Kendrick Lamar has announced details of a July 2013 UK tour.
The rapper, who released his debut LP ‘ Good Kid, m.A.A.d City’ towards the end of last year is set to call in at theatres in Manchester, Birmingham and Leeds on the stretch, before his appearance at London’s Wireless festival on July 13, along with Emeli Sande, Rita Ora, Kendrick Lamar, Miguel, DJ Fresh and Calvin Harris.

Kendrick Lamar recently topped a poll of the Hottest MCs in the world, finishing above 2 Chainz, Kanye West and Rick Ross. The MTV list rewarded Lamar based on a combination of rhyme skill, flow, buzz, commercial success, business ventures, web presence, and cultural influence. Speaking about the accolade, he said: “It’s very important for hip-hop. I love that they have debates like that. We need that. It’s still competitive and I’m trying to compete with everybody to be the best.”
