Kendrick Lamar discusses meeting President Obama at the White House

Obama recently named one of Lamar's songs as his favourite of 2015

Kendrick Lamar has discussed meeting President Obama in a new PSA video for the Pay It Forward mentoring programme.

The US President recently named Lamar’s ‘How Much A Dollar Cost?’, from latest album ‘To Pimp A Butterfly’, his favourite track of 2015. The pair later met at the White House.

Now Lamar describes the meeting in this new video, saying: “I sat down with President Barack Obama. We shared the same views: topics concerning the inner cities, the problems, the solutions and furthermore embracing the youth. We are both aware that mentoring saves lives.”
