Lamar recently appeared in Swift’s video for ‘Bad Blood’, also delivering a guest verse on the track.

Earlier this month, Lamar was honoured with the ‘Generational Icon’ award by the State of California and State Senator Isadore Hall III. Lamar gave a speech at a ceremonial event, discussing how he tries to give back to the community.

Meanwhile, Kendrick Lamar recently partnered with health food company Sweetgreen for a new salad called ‘Beets Don’t Kale My Vibe’.

The dish is being sold at the US salad chain’s stores throughout this month ahead of the rapper’s performance at their Sweetlife Festival, which takes place this weekend in Maryland from May 30-31. The salad contains beetroot and kale, with its name a pun on the title of Lamar’s track ‘Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe’. Sweetgreen have been selling T-shirts featuring the phrase since 2013.
