The ‘Timber’ singer was recently denied the right to exit her recording contract with Sony Music early, after accusing her longtime collaborator Dr Luke of alleged sexual assault and sexual harassment, which he has since denied.
Dr Luke, real name Lukasz Gottwald, said in some Twitter posts: “The only truly objective person who knows the facts is the judge. The judge did not rule in Kesha’s favor on Friday.
“I didn’t rape Kesha and I have never had sex with her. Kesha and I were friends for many years and she was like my little sister.”
Numerous artist have come out in support of the #FreeKesha campaign, including Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift who donated $250,000 to the singer and Adele, who used her Brit Award acceptance speech to “publicly support Kesha”.
