The Kanye West collaborator returns with solo material...
Kid Cudi has posted a new track ‘The Frequency’, which sees the Cleveland native team up with two of his regulars Mike Dean and Plain Pat on production duties.
Shortly before posting the new track, Kid Cudi also posted an image of his album ‘Speedin’ Bullet To Heaven’ on Instagram, alongside a message about his excitement in reconnecting with the format.
“So very fucking excited to have these out in the world. Always wanted one of my albums available on cassette,” he said. “A whole new sonic experience and possibly the best way to hear this project in its true form. For you!”
He added an image shortly afterwards revealing how casettes help him with recording, saying “this is my old Talkboy from when I was a kid. I recorded all the weird voices on the album with it.”

Last year, Kid Cudi posted a poem to his Twitter in which he pictured his own death.
“Send my body to space to be buried on the moon,” he writes before later requesting that his father is dug up so they can be buried together. Cudi returned to Twitter shortly afterwards to assert that the handwritten poem was not the lyrics to a song.
Haim, Kendrick Lamar, A$AP Rocky, RZA and Kanye West have all worked with the rapper/ actor over the last few years.
