Michael Sacha, 30, was found dead at the wheel of a vehicle on Monday (April 25)
Kid Rock has released a public statement after discovering the dead body of his assistant on Monday (April 25).
As The Tennessean reports, Michael Sacha, 30, was found dead at the wheel of an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) in the driveway of Rock’s property in Nashville, Tennessee early on Monday morning.
Police believe that Sacha died after taking guests to be picked up by an Uber driver outside Rock’s Whites Creek estate. Sacha is thought to have lost control of the vehicle and crashed on his way back to the residence. Nashville’s fire department has said that Sacha was dead when by the time they arrived.
In a statement Rock described himself as “beyond devastated”. Speaking of Sacha, the rock-rapper wrote: “He was a member of our family and one of the greatest young men I have ever had the pleasure to not only work with, but also to become friends with. I know I speak for us all in sharing my deepest condolences to his family. I cannot imagine how they must feel.”
Rock added that he’s “been contacted by the press asking if it was me who was in the accident” and wants to “stop any rumours before they spread.”
“I’m asking everyone to please respect our and his families’ privacy in this difficult time. RIP Mike. We will never forget you, my friend,” the performer added.
