DRUGS FOUND ON KID ROCK TOUR BUS

Police find cocaine and marijuana after the star plays a show in Florida...

Drugs have been found aboard KID ROCK‘ tour bus just hours after the star played the first night of a tour with AEROSMITH.

The bus was pulled over by police in West Palm Beach, Florida, on Saturday night (October 19) and searched for drugs. A small amount of cocaine, a pair of marijuana joints and $3,717 in cash in a metal briefcase were discovered, according to a police report from the St Lucie County Sheriff’s Office.

Rock was not on the bus when it was stopped and searched on the turnpike, as he was en route to Nashville on a plane, MTV reports. The County Sheriff’s Office charged Rock‘s personal assistant, Kevin J McMahon, 36, with drug possession. McMahon was freed on bail on Sunday (October 20) after being charged with one felony count of cocaine possession and misdemeanor counts of marijuana and drug paraphernalia possession.

The bus was stopped around midnight by a sheriff’s detective and the Florida Highway Patrol after receiving a tip from a motorist about drugs on board the bus.

After the bus was stopped, McMahon was asked to empty his pockets, in which the officers found a piece of white paper containing a white powdery substance that tested positive for the presence of cocaine, according to the report. During a top-to-bottom search of the bus, the briefcase with the cash was found in the back of the bus and a marijuana pipe and another joint were later found in one of McMahon’s bags.
