The promo for 'Bawitdaba' sees the final footage of Rock's sidekick, who died in November...

The video for the new KID ROCK track ‘BAWITDABA’, features the last ever footage of the rap rocker’s pint-sized sidekick JOE C, who died last November after suffering from the rare digestive disorder Celiac disease.

The 3ft 9in rapper was 26 years old at the time of his death and is shown in the new video cavorting with semi-clad women and playing American football with a gang of small children. The video also features Evel Knievel-style motorcycle stunts, flame-painted limos, more semi-clad women and Kid Rock stood atop a trailer home rapping about: “all my heroes in the methadone clinic”.

Kid Rock is to make a rare live appearance in the UK, with a show at Brixton Academy.

Rock, who has not performed in the UK for two years, will perform at the London venue on June 5. Special guests are still to be announced, but tickets go on sale tomorrow (March 21) at 9am.

The show is thought to be a one-off date in the UK and not part of a more comprehensive European tour.

Prior to the show, ‘Bawitdaba’ is released on April 23, through East West.
