Elton John has announced new album ‘Revamp’, with a selection of his classic songs covered by the likes of The Killers, Lady Gaga, Florence & The Machine, Queens Of The Stone Age and many more.
Set for release on April 6, ‘Revamp’ boasts ‘reimagined’ versions of hits including ‘We All Fall In Love’, ‘Candle In The Wind’, and ‘Your Song’ by a host of Sir Elton’s friends and past collaborators – including Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Miley Cyrus and Mumford & Sons.
“It’s always a huge compliment when an artist loves your song enough to take the time and effort to rework it,” said Sir Elton. “As songwriters, Bernie and myself are thrilled when singers we admire and respect as much as those on Revamp choose to add their own unique twist in the process.
“It means that our music is still relevant and ultimately that our songs continue to reach new audiences. We’re humbled and thank them all for their generosity.”
The tracklist for ‘Revamp’ is:
‘Bennie And The Jets’ – Elton John, P!nk and Logic
‘We All Fall In Love Sometimes’ – Coldplay
‘I Guess That’s Why They Call It The Blues’ – Alessia Cara
‘Candle In The Wind (2018 Version)’ – Ed Sheeran

Last month saw Queens Of The Stone Age debut their cover of ‘Goodbye Yellow Brick Road’ live with Mark Ronson, following Sir Elton’s contribution to their acclaimed 2013 album ‘…Like Clockwork‘.
He also recorded Christmas single ‘Joseph Better You Than Me’ with The Killers in 2008, and has performed and recorded with Lady Gaga on numerous occasions.
