Kim Porter’s cause of death has been confirmed

The model and ex-girlfriend of P Diddy died in November 2018.

Kim Porter died after contracting a form of pneumonia, a coroner’s report has confirmed.

The model, who was the former long-term girlfriend of P.Diddy, was found dead at her home in Los Angeles last November.

The Los Angeles Coroner County Coroner’s Office has now confirmed that Porter died from lobar pneumonia, a form of the infection that often occurs after a cold or flu and directly affects one part of the lung.

In the wake of Porter’s death, Diddy hailed her as his “soulmate”. During their 13 year relationship, they became parents to twin daughters Jessie James and D’Lila, 11, and son Christian, 20. Diddy also adopted Quincy, Porter’s son from a previous relationship.

“I don’t know what I’m going to do without you baby. I miss you so much. Today I’m going to pay tribute to you, I’m going to try and find the words to explain our unexplainable relationship,” said Diddy at the time of Porter’s death.

“We were more than best friends, we were more than soulmates. WE WERE SOME OTHER SHIT!! And I miss you so much. Super Black Love.”

Earlier this month, Diddy also revealed how he’d suffered “deep depression” in the wake of Porter’s passing.

“The way my family has been strong has humbled me. They have led me. They brought me out of a state of deep depression. Their strength and love brought me back into the light,” he said.
