King Krule performs on Willis Earl Beal’s video series – watch

The Londoner plays three songs on the second episode of 'Church of Nobody'

King Krule recently appeared on the second episode of Willis Earl Beal‘s video series Church of Nobody.

Click above to watch the London based musician performing ‘A Lizard State’, ‘Border Line’ and ‘Out Getting Ribs’ for the show. The set was recorded during King Krule’s recent short run of Stateside dates. The eight part online series will include a full length Thanksgiving show that will be broadcast on Brooklyn Public Television. Australian performer Kirin J Callinan will appear on the next episode.

Meanwhile, King Krule will appear on two late night US talk shows in the coming weeks, playing on the Late Show With David Letterman on October 28 and Conan on November 4.

King Krule – real name Archy Marshall – recently appeared in a new list of the 25 most influential Londoners aged 25 and under. He featured on the Evening Standard‘s ‘Generation Next’ list alongside Disclosure, female-fronted band Findlay, soul singer Fabienne and Boiler Room DJ Nick Tasker.

The list claimed to highlight “the talent, determination, and creativity that make London one of the world’s greatest cities”. Other names on the list include model Cara Delevigne and Les Misérables actress Samantha Barks – as well as computer coder Anne-Marie Imafidon, app developer Sumner Murphy, Government Digital Service adviser Jordan Hatch and Gabrielle Turnquest, the youngest person ever to become a barrister at 18.
