The Scandanavian strummers are replaced by The Cooper Temple Clause...

KINGS OF CONVENIENCE have cancelled their performance at Monday’s (February 5) final NME CARLING AWARDS SHOW at the LONDON ASTORIA due to illness.

The rising Norwegian indie duo, who released their critically acclaimed debut album, ‘Quiet Is The New Loud’ on Monday (January 29) are suffering from laryngitis. They will be replaced by much-talked-about new outfit The Cooper Temple Clause.

Headliners on the night will be Doves. Ed Harcourt and Elbow remain as support.
