‘The Bucket’ voted Kings of Leon’s greatest song by NME.COM users

The first single from their second album wins the online vote

Kings Of Leon‘s 2004 single ‘The Bucket’ has been voted the band’s greatest ever song by NME.COM users.

The track was voted just ahead of another of the Nashville, Tennessee band’s debut single, ‘Molly’s Chambers’, and ‘Red Morning Light’ – both from 2003 – with ‘Knocked Up’ and ‘California Waiting’ completing the Top Five in the poll.

Users were asked to rate the band’s tracks out of 10 – ‘The Bucket’ received an average of 8.54, 0.03 of a mark ahead of its nearest rival. No song in the Top 20 received less than a 7.
