Kings of Leon played a huge gig at Glasgow’s Bellahouston Park last night (August 22) ahead of their forthcoming headline slots at Reading & Leeds Festivals this weekend.
Opening the Glasgow Summer Sessions series of gigs, the US rockers opened brightly with ‘Slow Night So Long’. The band played a career-spanning, energetic set that included hits such as ‘Molly’s Chambers’, ‘Pyro’ and ‘Use Somebody.’
They were supported earlier in the day by The Wombats, The Hunna, Everything Everything and Isaac Gracie.
Speaking to the crowd, frontman Caleb Followill said: “It’s so good to be here tonight. We’ve been looking forward to this for a long time! It feels like a long time since we’ve been here… we think we’re going to stick around a couple of days.”
