Mötley Crüe, Slash and Enter Shikari also announced
Kiss have been confirmed as the third headline act for Download Festival 2015.
Gene Simmons and co will headline the Sunday night of next year’s event, which runs between June 12-14. This will be the American group’s first appearance at the fest since 2008 while Mötley Crüe have been confirmed as the main support on the festival’s final night.
Speaking about his band’s upcoming appearance, Simmons said: “To all our fans – our intention is to get on that stage, blow the heavens to smithereens and take no prisoners.”
It will be Mötley Crüe’s final UK festival appearance, with the band set to call it a day in 2016.
Slipknot and Muse are the other two headline acts, while the likes of Judas Priest, Faith No More and Marilyn Manson have also been confirmed so far.
Download Festival 2014 took place at Donington Park between June 13-15 this year with headline performances from Avenged Sevenfold, Aerosmith and Linkin Park.
