Klaxons have revealed new song ‘Children Of The Sun’. Scroll down to listen now.
‘Children Of The Sun’ is the second track on the double A-side of the band’s comeback single ‘There Is No Other Time’, revealed last week. The track is the second to be revealed from their forthcoming third album, and was produced by Tom Rowlands of The Chemical Brothers.
Speaking about the band’s new music, Jamie Reynolds of Klaxons recently told NME: “This record is very much about the present, an emotionally honest album about technological and personal progression.” The new record, which is expected to be released in late spring, also features production from Gorgon City, Erol Alkan and James Murphy.
Speaking to NME earlier this year, Reynolds described the sound of the album as “classy and euphoric”, saying: “It covers leftfield electronica and pop. It’s where we always said we were gonna place ourselves – it just took us a while to learn how to get there.”
Klaxons made their UK festival comeback at last May’s The Great Escape. The band had performed at Newquay’s Relentless Boardmasters festival in 2011 but since then have only played a handful of shows in Europe and the US.
