Klaxons remix Mutya Keisha Siobhan’s ‘Flatline’ – listen

The original Sugababes line-up release their comeback track on September 1

Klaxons have remixed ‘Flatline’, the comeback single from original Sugababes members Mutya Keisha Siobhan. ‘Flatline’ is released on September 1.

Scroll down to listen to the Klaxons remix of the track, which was written by the reunited trio and produced by Dev Hynes, aka Blood Orange. The original version of the song features backing vocals from Fred MacPherson of Spector. Prior to the first airing of the track, the reunited trio shared a couple of low-key collaborations which were recorded with Hynes, a freestyle over Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Swimming Pools (Drank)’ and a Blood Orange remix of Phoenix’s ‘Entertainment’ featuring their distinctive backing vocals.

Keisha Buchanan, Mutya Buena and Siobhan Donaghy – the founding members of Sugababes – reunited last year to record a new album as Mutya Keisha Siobhan. The trio no longer own the rights to the Sugababes name, which is now used by a group consisting of three non-original members.
