Kodak Black has been ‘arrested for criminal possession of a weapon and a misdemeanour possession of marijuana charge’, according to law enforcement quoted by TMZ.
They report that the 21 year-old rapper and three of his entourage were held by US Customs Agents after it was discovered that they were trying to bring two firearms and a supply of marijuana into the country.

It is also reported that he is still in custody and being held on a $20,000 cash bond or $40,000 bond.
A further report by The Daily Mail quotes police as saying that Black and his friends Stetson J. President and Madarrow D. Smith were stopped at the Lewiston–Queenston Bridge, a border crossing from Canada.
The police said: “Further investigation revealed that three suspects attempted to enter the United States in a Cadillac Escalade bearing a temporary California registration.”
Last night (April 17) Black cancelled a show at Boston’s House Of Blues at the very last minute. The arrest is believed now to be the reason behind the cancellation, which went unexplained at the time.
They didn’t tell us he wasn’t coming until the end of the show, this was the crowd booing after hour one and a half of waiting pic.twitter.com/0tggjeOaoF

Fans had already been let into the venue, and were only told that the show would not be taking place after hours of waiting. They were heard chanting ‘Fuck Kodak’ when the news was broken, and allegedly swarmed his tour bus, which at the time had only support act Calboy inside.

TMZ reported that, at the time, no one in Black’s team was aware what had happened to him or why the show had to be cancelled.
It’s the latest in a series of controversies for Black, who earlier this month was banned from a Los Angeles radio station after making insensitive comments about Lauren London, the girlfriend of the late Nipsey Hussle.
Prior to that, Black temporarily shut down his own Instagram account after being ridiculed for claiming he was on the same level as legendary rappers 2Pac, The Notorious B.I.G and Nas.
