Korn added to Sunset Strip Music Festival lineup

All-star group Camp Freddy will also perform at second annual LA event

Korn has been added to the lineup for the second annual Sunset Strip Music Festival, which is set to take place next month. This will be the band’s first Los Angeles performance in more than two years.

“Although we’re all from Bakersfield, the Sunset Strip is really where it all came together for Korn,” frontman Jonathan Davis said in a statement. “It’s where we had our first breakthrough gigs.”

All-star rock group Camp Freddy, which includes Billy Morrison, Matt Sorum, Chris Chaney, Dave Navarro and Donavan Leitch, have also joined the bill to perform at an Ozzy Osbourne tribute event which will kick off the festival on September 10.

Other headliners include Chris Cornell, The Donnas, Iglu & Hartly thenewno2 and Fishbone.

The festival is set to take place September 10-12 at various venues along Los Angeles‘ famous Sunset Strip, as well as along Sunset Boulevard, which will be closed off to cars for the first time.
