'The irony is not lost on me'
Kraftwerk fans rushed to buy tickets to their upcoming UK tour today, with many commenting on ‘the irony’ of being asked to prove they’re not a robot.
The band announced their 11 UK dates earlier week, where they’ll take their full 3D spectacular on the road in their first full tour of the UK since 2004.
Tickets sold out within hours, even minutes for some venues, as fans took to Twitter to react to the rush. Renowned for their characters as ‘robots’ taken from their single of the same name, many fans found it amusing and ironic in being asked to prove that they were ‘not robots’ in passing the automated checks on ticket-buying pages:
There is a delicious irony in having to repeatedly confirm that you aren't a robot while trying to buy Kraftwerk tickets.

That Ticketmaster website asking me questions so as to prove I'm not a robot is annoying
