Only ten candidates remain - and there's no place for the likes of Robbie and Geri...

The odds on Kylie Minogue scooping the RECORD OF THE YEAR award have shortened to 5/4 as the list of ten finalists has thrown up some big name omissions.

Robbie Williams, DJ Otzi, Geri Halliwelland Samantha Mumba were all voted off by viewers presented with 20 semi-finalists during a show on ITV in the UK last night (December 3).

S Club 7 have moved to 7/2, while Wheatus are a surprise, moving up to third favourite at 5/1. The final will be screened on December 8 at 6pm on the same channel, after which viewers can vote for the winner. Popular presenters Ant & Dec will host both shows.


Westlife have won the award for the last two years in a row.
