KYLIE MINOGUE was presented with a £18,000 diamond-encrusted pendant to celebrate the end of her record-breaking tour of AUSTRALIA last night (May 15).
The Antipodean pop princess was presented with the plectrum-shaped pendant, crafted from 300 pave-set diamonds arranged around a central half carat Aurius diamond by Australian music entrepreneur Michael Gudinski, founder of heavy-hitting global record company Mushroom and boss of Frontier Touring, who promoted the Kylie tour.
The gift was presented before she took the stage at Sydney Entertainment Centre to mark her achievement in selling 210,000 tickets on the 23-date tour, which sold out venues in every Australian state and saw an unprecedented 10 extra shows being added to the original schedule, due to overwhelming demand.
The pendant came pinned to a specially designed denim jacket, with replicas of the pendant as the zipper-pulls.
, the first product of which will be a ‘Kylie Jacket’, identical to the one shown in the main picture. Apart from the diamonds.
