Kylie Minogue’s ‘Wow’ video censored for TV

Singer's new clip forced off the air

Kylie Minogue’s new video for the single ‘Wow’ has been banned by television watchdogs.

According to The Sun, the clip has fallen foul of Ofcom guidelines on strobe lighting and was not allowed to premiere on British television earlier this week (January 30).

The promo, which features the singer pole dancing with aliens, is now being re-edited before it can be shown.

Clips of the video have appeared online, on sites like YouTube, but the star’s record label EMI has had them taken down because of copyright issues.

The single, the second to be lifted from the ‘X’ album, is out on February 18.
