Kylie Minogue scores fifth UK Number One album

JLS top the singles chart for the third time

Kylie Minogue has scored her fifth UK Number One album tonight (July 11) with ‘Aphrodite’.

The Australian singer went straight to the summit with the 11th studio album of her career, knocking Eminem‘s ‘Recovery’ down to Number Two.

She has previously hit the top spot with ‘Enjoy Yourself’, ‘Fever’, ‘Kylie! The Album’ and a greatest hits package, according to the Official Charts Company.

In the singles chart, JLS scored their third UK Number One with ‘The Club Is Alive’.

There were also new entries for Yolanda Be Cool & DCUP’ with ‘We No Speak Americano’ (Number Five) and 3OH!3‘s ‘My First Kiss’ (Number Seven).
