KYLIE MINOGUE looks certain of scoring a rare double on Sunday (October 7) – her single ‘CAN’T GET YOU OUT OF MY HEAD’ is set to remain at Number One for a third week while her album ‘FEVER’ is set to enter at the top of the charts.

In midweek sales figures from HMV, the star’s single has shifted just under 25,000 – well ahead of her nearest rival, former Number One DJ Otzi, who has moved back up from Three to Two with sales of 13,259.

In a week of little change, the highest midweek entry comes from Jean Jacques Smoothie at Nine with ‘2 People’, having shifted 4,426, just seven sales ahead of nu-metallers Sum 41 with ‘Fat Lip’.

The tribute to England football manager Sven Goran Eriksson, ‘Sven Sven Sven’ by Bell & Spurling, is sitting at 12 with sales of 4,387, though this is expected to creep up as Saturday’s (October 6) World Cup qualifier against Greece approaches. Ash

The album charts show much more life. Kylie is at Number One with sales of 27,819, while Elton John is currently sitting at two with sales of 11,715 for newie ‘Songs From The West Coast’. Ian Brown sits happily at Three with ‘Music Of The Spheres’ (8,103) several hundred ahead of Garbage on 7,541 with ‘beautifulgarbage’. Meanwhile Posh Spice Victoria Beckham has been gazumped by Kylie again. Her debut solo album is currently limping in at Six with sales of 5,020, while singles chart titan Bob The Builder misses the Ten completely, sitting at 11 with 3,777 units moved.
