Lady Gaga to offer fans behind scenes access to ‘Do What U Want’ video

'ARTPOP' star teams with peer-to-peer file sharing site for first in new video bundle series

Lady Gaga has partnered with BitTorrent to offer fans behind the scenes footage from the making of her latest music video, as well as other exclusive content.

The deal sees Gaga working with the company, which specialises in peer-to-peer file sharing, in the first of the BitTorrent Bundle series. The deal, which also involves Vice Media, will enable fans to download videos of 4K footage documenting the making of Lady Gaga feat. R Kelly’s ‘Do What U Want’ music video as well as an interview with Lady Gaga and the video’s director Terry Richardson.

The bundle will be available here from next week. Similar bundles with different artists are expected to be rolled out in the coming weeks.

Earlier this week Lady Gaga performed with R Kelly at the American Music Awards in a set that saw the pair play a President and his mistress in the Oval Office. It followed Gaga hitting back at critics of her work, and confirm that she plans to tour her ‘ArtRAVE’ live show in 2014.

‘ARTPOP’ is Lady Gaga’s third studio album and was released earlier this month (November 6), with the LP subsequently becoming her third release to chart at Number One on the Official UK Albums Chart. Last week, meanwhile, Gaga revealed that she will become the first ever artist to perform in space after confirming plans to sing one song from a Virgin Galactic spaceship in 2015.
