Lady Gaga debuts new track ‘Princess Die’ – listen

Singer previews the follow-up to 'Born This Way' with new song

Lady Gaga has debuted a brand new song titled ‘Princess Die’.

The track, which you can see by scrolling down to the bottom of the page and clicking, has been a feature of the singer’s recent set lists.

‘Princess Die’, which is thought to be inspired by Princess Diana, features lyrics such as: “Maybe I’ll just clean the shit off of these fancy shoes. Wish that I was strong, I wish that I was wrong. I wish I could cope, but I took pills and left a note. I wish I would go in my rich boyfriend’s limo. Right after he proposed with a 16 carat stone wrapped in rose gold. She just wants to sleep. The final act of life will be my own hands to do, I’ll be a Princess and die with you.”

The singer has said that the track is in contention to appear on the follow-up to ‘Born This Way’, but will not definitely be on the album.

Gaga will tour Europe as part of her Born This Way Ball tour later this year and as well as two previously announced shows in London, will now also play Manchester’s Evening News Arena on September 11 and a one-off date in Ireland at Dublin’s Aviva Stadium four days later. The Darkness will support on all UK and Ireland dates.
