Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber to play aliens in ‘Men In Black III’ film

Gaga set to feature in film as rehearsal clip from her Born This Way Ball leaks online

Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber will star as aliens in the forthcoming Men In Black III film, director Barry Sonnenfeld has confirmed.

Gaga was previously linked to a cameo in the film after Will Smith let slip in an interview that she may feature alongside several celebrity guests.

However, Sonnenfeld has confirmed in an interview with Collider that Gaga, Justin Bieber and Tim Burton will all appear on an alien surveillance board, which in previous films has featured Steven Spielberg, George Lucas and Sylvester Stallone. The late Michael Jackson also starred in Men In Black II as Agent M.

Speaking of the castings, Sonnenfeld said is was difficult to find celebrities that will still be recognisable in years to come: “The challenge is getting celebrities that are famous, will give you permission and won’t be like, ‘Who’s that guy?’ in 10 years.” He added:

In this [film] there are a few people that you’ll see up on the surveillance board including Lady Gaga, Tim Burton, who probably knows more about aliens then I do, and let’s see who else . . . Justin Bieber . . .

Men In Black III is due to hit UK cinemas on May 25.

Earlier today, an audio clip from Lady Gaga’s rehearsal for her Born This Way Ball tour emerged online, according to Digital Spy.

The clip of ‘Government Hooker’, which was recorded in Seoul, South Korea, features a voice saying “welcome to the Born This Way Ball”, suggesting the track will be the opener for the show. You can listen to the clip below:

Lady Gaga will play 110 dates spanning over a year for the Born This Way Ball tour, which kicks off in South Korea on Friday (April 27). Last week (April 16), it was announced that she will play a second show at London’s Twickenham Stadium this autumn. The singer, who was already scheduled to perform at the 60,000-capacity venue on September 8, will now play the following day too.

In addition, she is set to play Manchester’s Evening News Arena on September 11 and a one-off date in Ireland at Dublin’s Aviva Stadium four days later. The Darkness will support the singer on all four dates.
